Q |
How does it work? |
A |
The
ALLVIEW™ Mirror System (AMS™) with its patented
automatic and natural safey indicator, the ALLVIEW Windows
Program™ (AWP™), provides a full rear traffic
view allowing you to judge accurately what you see helping
you make safe and accurate lane changes each and every time
by maintaining at least a minimum safety distance, the nearest-safety-distance
(NSD™), between your car and any rear approaching vehicle. |
Q |
Will it block my forward view? |
A |
No,
AMS™ was designed to keep your eyes forward and focused
on the road ahead in line with your natural forward line-of-sight
without impairing your front view. |
Q |
Does the mirror reduce glare? |
A |
Yes,
AMS™ reduces headlight glare by up to about 50% for
safer night driving. |
|
Installation |
Q |
How is it installed? |
A |
Installation
is easy for both models of the ALLVIEW™ Mirror. Model
1750 comes with an arm, mounting base and glues that mounts
directly to windshield. The Smart-Clip™ ALLVIEW™
Mirror snaps onto the factory inside rearview mirror with
no extra tools required. |
Q |
Do I have to remove my factory inside rearview mirror? |
A |
No,
you can install AMS™ Model 1750 without removing your
factory inside rearview mirror and without affecting the operation
or performance of your ALLVIEW™ Mirror. |
Q |
Why do you mount the mirror in front of the driver seat position? |
A |
To
fully reap the safety benefits of your driving, mounting AMS™
Model 1750 directly in front of the driver seat position is
the preferred location, because it complies with human factors
by keeping your eyes forward and focused on the road ahead
in line with your natural forward line-of-sight. Also, the
driver side mount allows for the proper use of the mirror's
uniquely designed sun visor. The AMS™ Model 1750 sun
visor has been specifically designed toward the driver's eye
level for blocking off sun light. |
Q |
How long does it take to mount the mirror? |
A |
Mounting the mirror takes only minutes, but allow at least 1 hour for the glues to cure. It is recommended that you let the glues cure overnight for full bonding strength. |
|
Compatability |
Q |
Will it fit in my vehicle? |
A |
AMS™
is an universal fit in a variety of vehicles including cars,
trucks, SUVs, minivans and jeeps. |
|
Adjusting Your Seat |
Q |
What is the required headroom space in a car to use the mirror? |
A |
As long as there is about 3 or more inches of space between the crown of your head and the roof of your vehicle, there should be adequate headroom space. |
Q |
How
does the driver's own face appears or occludes in the mirror? |
A |
For
best results, adjust your AMS™ so that your eyes are
not visible to you in the mirror. You can achieve this by
rotating your AMS™ upwards towards the roof of your
vehicle. For additional headroom space, you can adjust your
driver seat by tilting your seat back and moving it forward
while maintaining full control of your vehicle. If applicable,
you may achieve even more headroom space by lowering your
seat. |
